Austria’s eInvoicing network grows with PEPPOL

Austria has over 5,000 public entities now able to receive eInvoices through the PEPPOL network where it's been mandatory to invoice the Austrian Federal Government via eInvoicing since January last year.

Accountant jailed for his part in £750,000 fraud

Margaret Jean Murray-Shelley from Aberdare and Wayne Pullman from Swansea have been jailed for their part in fraud offences totalling £750,000. Pullman, a qualified accountant since 1972, provided financial advice to MJL Group, the company his co-conspirators owned.

Swedish Government makes key e-invoicing decision

The Swedish government has announced that it is considering a move towards einvoicing for the public sector, saying that all invoices being received by public bodies may soon find that it's the only way to do business. To explore this possibility in more detail the government has commissioned the Swedish Financial Management Authority (ESV).
