Over the last couple of decades, Romania's IT sector has driven the country forward, mainly with the growth of outsourcing companies. The country offers signigicant benefits over the more traditional outsourcing centres being only one hour ahead of Germany and only a 3 hour flight from London.

On top of that, the country has a significant number of highly skilled, young and motivated professionals, many of which speak not only English, but German, French and Italian too, and in comparisson to the West, their salaries are relatively low.

Yet low cost is not the only factor that draws clients to the country, other considerations include expertise, expereince, depth and quality of the proposal and robust financial reporting.

As nearshoring becomes ever more attractive, the outsourcing market continues to grow ever more competitive.
