Nisa, one of the UK's leading food and drink provider for independent markets has appointed Robin Brown as Chief Financial Officer on a permanent basis.

Brown joined Nisa in May as part of CEO Nick Read’s management restructure and has led a strategic programme to find efficiencies across the business.

He held senior positions at Morrison Supermarkets Plc, BOC Edwards and Polaroid.

Commenting on the development Nick Read, chief executive of Nisa said: "Robin has been instrumental in our positive work with the bank and credit market and his diligent financial management has given Nisa a strong platform on which to build for the future"

Brown previous experience, included Finance Director for the Morrisons Food Online Business, where he helped to build an £85m turnover in one year, and he also worked in the Kiddicare.com and merger and acquisitions divisions.
