| Fraudsters are targeting struggling small business |

Wednesday 23rd May, 2012 Small businesses have been advised to take measures to avoid fraudster's attempts to defraud them of thousands of pounds. Fraudsters are increasingly impersonating well known high street brands with paperwork which looks correct, to order goods from suppliers. According to Kieron Franks, risk underwriting manager for Euler Hermes UK, suspected frauds based on a false trading relationship rose by 45% last year compared with 2010. An estimated £5m of this type of fraud has already been identified so far this year. Read more. |
