|
Tuesday 30th July, 2013 FISCAL Technologies, has launched the next generation of their Cloud Service incorporating an upgraded infrastructure and following industry security requirements. AP Forensics® Cloud is now on a dedicated private network with increased redundancy running on the latest Microsoft Server 2012 systems. The platform has a round-the-clock monitoring and alerting to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of customer data. Howard Durdle, FISCAL’s Chief Technology Officer, said: "The latest iteration of our Cloud Service offers our customers increased speed, resilience and security and provides a significant platform for further growth. The team are delighted to be able to continue to provide the exceptional service that FISCAL’s customers have come to expect." Since originally launched 2 years ago, more than 25% of FISCAL’s customers have elected to run their AP Forensics® software using the Cloud Service, recognising the fact that it is more cost-effective to allow a specialist expert provider to host an application, rather than burden an overstretched internal IT team. Not only is this the fastest way to configure and deploy the software, the organisation also benefits from seamless upgrading to new software versions and on-going maintenance. The take-up of the Cloud Service has been even more dramatic in the public sector, with close to 50% of FISCAL’s government customers choosing the service, highlighting the continued emphasis on providing increased value for public funds. |
