As there is confusion about which media and marketing services, if any, are impacted by marketer proposed changes to vendor terms, and the extent of those changes is unclear.

A new report has found that fraud was "probable" at Stoke-onTrent City Council and has uncovered what it terms as "serious systemic failings" in the council's project management and the way it conducted the drive to increase business in North Staffordshire. The claims come after an allegation was made to the Stafforshire Police in 2010 in relation to the tendering process. As a result of the report, Stoke-on-Trent MP, Rob Flello wants the Crown Prosecution Service to take another look at the case.

A new research report by AIIM, Winning the Paper Wars finds that companies can reap greater financial benefits by incorporating paper-free projects into their business improvement initiatives, and yet adoption of these processes has been very slow.
According to the report 74 percent of survey respondents have business improvement campaigns underway that would benefit from paper-free processes, but surprisingly only 24 percent have a specific policy designed to eliminate paper from their business.

The Government has released a set of recommendations in response to the news that a staggering £36bn was owed to SMEs in late payments last year. Politicians are now trying to force large corporations to publish how long they take to pay these organisations in an effort to force companies to own up and and pay up.

Barnet Council and Capita plc have agreed to the signing of two key contracts which aim to generate savings of £165 million over ten years. The signing follows a Court of Appeal ruling on Friday 2nd August which found in Barnet Council’s favour following a legal challenge brought by a resident against elements of the council’s One Barnet change programme.
